What is Ustream/Live Stream?
Ustream and Live Stream are websites that use your existing webcams and allow you to stream live web content onto the internet and create your own TV channels. The websites are free to use and provide you with embed codes that you can paste into this website to link your webcam streaming channel with you public profile on this website.

How do I add and test my Ustream Embed code into this website?
Use Ustream or Live stream to further promote yourself, your business or service. If you create a Job Seeker profile, anyone that visits your public profile on this website will also see your Live Web channel right away. If you start streaming, the video will also start on this website. Employers and Job Seekers use this feature to conduct interviews with each other, alternatively you may conduct live video workshops and create group followings within this website.

To Add your EMBED Code first register on Ustream.TV or Livestream.com, once you have your embed code login on our website. From the profile welcome page click YOUR PREFERENCE link in the top right corner. Once the page is loaded follow the instructions and check box next to I 'D LIKE TO STREAM MY WEBCAM. Paste in your code and SUBMIT THE PAGE. When you preview your public profile your channel should load as well.

What are Activity Feeds?
Activity feeds display the latest member activities occuring on the system in real-time. The Feeds may occur while browsing this website or on the homepage. Additionally once you are logged in your account, you will have additional control options of the activity feed. If you choose to SHOW ALL FEEDS you will see the latest occurances including: newly added images, videos, articles, article ratings, forum posts, profile & image comments, new signups, book posts, Ad posts, Job Posts, Profile Changes and others. To ONLY follow your friends, check the box from MY PROFILE page next to Activity Feed. Whenever your friends do anything, it will be displayed to you when the Feed is displayed. Additonally you may disable the Feed from expanding on your welcome profile page.

How do I write an Article, Can i share it?
Articles are a great way of promoting yourself on the Internet. We highly recommend using our website to post articles as our dynamic website automatically adds your articles to the major search engines. All articles have built in Web 2.0 Sharing tools and Commenting, so you can share or tweet the links to your articles and the website Title will have your article name within it. You may also add videos and images to your articles to make them feel more alive. To add or Manage articles, Browse our Articles  section and look for WRITE ARTICLE button, alternatively Login and click MY ARTICLES link to view a list of your posted articles or to manage them. Articles are searchable and sorted by categories and added to the Activity Feed for easy access.

What's the difference between JOB SEEKER, NETWORKER, EMPLOYER/COMPANY?
IF you have the JOB & RECRUITMENT ADD-ON installed on this website, you will have additional options when signing up and editing your profile. Each of the three options also changes the look of your public profile, when you enter www.thiswebsite.com/yourusername  it will link to your own public profile. All members may take part in discussions on the forum, calendar events, TV and more.

By default a person creates a NETWORKING, this allows them to carry on activities such as uploading images, videos, creating a public/fun profile and making friends across the site, networkers are not allowed to apply for jobs or post jobs and ads.  A JOB SEEKER has all advantages of a NETWORKER, but is also added to the JOB SEEKER section where employers and companies browse for hires, he is also allowed to upload a resume, create cover letters and may apply for jobs. An EMPLOYER/COMPANY has all advantages of a NETWORKER, but may post, manage and Track Advertisements, Lead Generating Pages, Post Jobs, Screen Applicants, Promote their business through Business Directories and more.

How do I change my login/password, image and other personal information?
Once you are logged into your account, from the profile welcome page click MY PROFILE link next to your profile image. Update any information on the following page and SUBMIT the page for changes to take effect. Follow the terms of use.

Where is my Mailbox? How does it work?
Each member receives their own mailbox to use while being a member, use this to connect with friends and potential leads. Your mailbox also is used to deliver important system mail to you. If someone ads you as a friend, an article is created by an administrator, someone rates your album or a global system message is sent you will receive a system message. You may also block members you do not wish to speak with or track if they are online or not. To access your mailbox, login and click MAILBOX from the set of links next to your image.

How do I update my Company Profile?
Your preference must be set to I AM A COMPANY / EMPLOYER to have access to the Employer Center where you can update your company information and post business listings and jobs. First Login and click YOUR PREFERENCE link in the top right to change the preferences of your account. Check the correct box and submit the page. You will now see a different set of options that will give you ability to update your company profile.

Can I check who Viewed my profile?
Yes, you can track what members have taken an interest in your account. First Login and click XX Profile Views 
link on the top of the home profile welcome page. The members displayed are the ones that have click on your thumbnail and saw your full profile.

Can I edit my Forum Posts?
If you post a new Forum Message or a thread, you will see EDIT and X delete icon next to your post. Please note if you are a moderator you will have the option of editing or Deleting any message within the Forum area. If your message is removed by a moderator, you will receive a system message stating so. Please stick to the terms of use and policies of the website and not abuse the forum.

Can I Add Videos or Images into my Account?
Yes, First Login and click Albums & Images or Videos Links next to your Profile Image. Please follow our terms of use when uploading or embedding videos and images. Please adhere to the restrictions by reading the instructions on the Video and Image pages.

Can I Add & Delete Comments to Public Images?
Yes, you may leave a comment, share a thought or leave a URL link for any Image on the website. First go to your Albums or A public profile with images and click on any image thumbnail to enlarge it. Once the images are enlarged on their own webpage, under the image you'll locate the comment box, enter your comments in the box and SAVE COMMENT. You may not delete comments after you leave them, only the owner of the image may delete comments they don't like. To do this Login to your account and click  Comments link next to your Profile Image. You'll see any image comments left on any of your images if you have any, you may delete any comments you don't like from here or by browsing the image publically and enlarging it under the Comments Box.

If I place a store order or a register for a Course where is my receipt?
If you place an order, you'll receive paypal notifications and receipts as well. To view start and end dates of your courses you first Login and click Receipts Link next to your Profile Image. This section will display any and all purchases that you've made while logged into our system. If you purchase an item using the BUY NOW option from another vendor, this will not be tracked. Only purchases processed by this website will be displayed in hereComments Box.

What's the difference between Regular-Study, Self-Study and Free Courses?
As a member you can browse through various courses offered on our website. Once you register for a course you'll see an additional link on your MY PROFILE page which will grant you access to the LESSONS and VIDEOS section of the website. The video lectures you'll watch will be in our player. Free courses are offered at no charge, simply click ENROLL and you will bypass the payment gateway and get access to the lessons, videos and any assignments. It's up to the Instructor to grade your assignments, usually no interaction occurs between the Instructor and the student in the FREE Courses.

Regular-Courses are just like traditional curriculum offered at a regular school, You must wait until the Session start date begins, once it does you'll receive access to the first set of lecture videos where each Lesson will have an assignment you must complete before you gain access to the next. Your instructor will grade your assignment and approve you to access the next one. They will also have the option of uploading a 1on1 video critique based on your assignment. You are also granted access to the Video Critique Forum where you can watch other video critiques from your course peers. It is up to the instructor to add video critiques. Once you enroll you will have to wait until the scheduled session begins. When it does you'll have access to the first Lesson, videos & assignments assigned to it. At the end of the course you'll receive a certificate and a final report in PDF format. When you enroll for a Regular-Study course your transaction will be manually approved within 48 hours and a set of confirmation emails will be sent out to your registered email address.

Self-Study courses are usually discounted and can be single video workshops, or be attached onto Regular-Study courses at a discounted rate. Simply click SWITCH TO SELF STUDY during the enrollment process if the button is available. When you enroll you will have access to all of the videos or video lectures and assignments for that course. You will still be able to submit assignments, however you will not receive 1on1 critiques or detailed feedback like in a Regular-Study course. your Instructor will provide you with an overall grade for each assignment you submit and a course certificate and final report for the course.

When will my course expire?
The course duration is set by the Instructor, Each lesson usually takes 10 days or so, however this may be extended as necessary by your Instructor, there is plenty of time to complete your courses. You'll see the End/Expiry date of the course in your Receipts section once you enroll. When looking at the courses you'll see the Lesson Plan, Total Duration of the video Lectures and Assignments. Access to the video lectures is 24/7, you have the freedom to learn whenever you want, but you still need to have a deadline. Self-Study courses are much more flexible options and have more flexibility, but don't give you the 1on1 interactivity from your instructor.

I enrolled in the wrong course session?
All purchases are as is. Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds, but we can schedue you into another class or move you from Regular to Self Study. Please send a message via our Contact US form and provide us with as much information as you can regarding this issue as soon as you realize the mistake. Once the Session starts, unfortunately there may be little we can do.

Will you offer discounts or coupons?
There is an option to enter a promotional code during the checkout, if you have one, please do so, if we have any specials we will announce them on the homepage, sometimes our Instructors will have individual offers, scour the web for some.

How will I know my assignment is graded or I have a critique?
Each time your Instructor grades your assignment or submits a video critique, you will receive a system email automatically with directions on how to access your assignment and video. Access your Assignments from the Lessons Module.

I have to submit an assignment file, how do I do it?
Once you're ready to submit an assignment, you'll be instructed to upload either an image, pdf or a ZIP file. Scroll on the Assignment page to view the 2 upload modules, be patient as you upload and do not cancel. Once your assignment is successfully sent the status will change to SUBMITTED from NEW. Once your Instructor grades your assignment, you'll receive an email and you can see the grade and feedback (on Regular-Study only) within the same assignment section.

My videos and video lecutres are not playing
If the Status on your Lesson says "WAIT" that means your access is not yet available. Either because the course hasn't started or because the Instructor has not approved you to the next lesson. If you are having technical issues, please try another browser. We have tested the website with Chrome, Internet Explorer 8 and Mozilla Firefox.

Where is my Certificate and Final Report?
Once you complete the Regular Study and Self-Study course, you will receive a certificate and a final report with comments from your Instructor. Please note the Instructor has the power not to graduate you from the program if you have not been following the curriculum.

Can I create TV Categories?
Only the Administrator can do that, but use our Contact form and tell us what type of category or genre we are missing and perhaps we'll add it. Alternatively post a Forum thread about this topic.
